Our Swashbuckler Coat Pattern gets a BIG update!

Looking for a pirate coat pattern that does double duty for cosplaying characters like Alucard from Castlevania? We've got you covered! Our Swashbuckler Coat Pattern now has more add-on options so you can reuse it over & over for making a variety of adventure-ready outfits.
This pattern has been recently revamped from being the 'Son of Dracula' to the 'Swashbuckler Coat'. It now offers variety in styles so you can sew a coat for a pirate or colonial costume one day, reuse it for something steampunk the next, and reuse it yet again for cosplaying from your favorite video games and anime.
Add-ons pattern pieces now include:
- 3 Collar Styles (Oversized, Small, No Collar)
- Optional Front Lapels
- Sleeve Cuffs
We know not every costume project needs to be a big time investment or masquerade-ready outfit. With that in mind, this pattern is now designed to scale in polish to meet your project needs. You can choose to fully bag line the coat to create a finished garment or simply add-in new optional facing pieces for a quick Halloween party costume project.
This duster coat-length greatcoat uses modern set-in sleeves and pattern markings. The simplified, four-paneled frock coat joins our ‘Made to Modify’ series- a collection of pattern blocks designed to be easy to pattern hack. It makes a fantastic starting point to add trims and customizations on to, so we hope you'll get years of use out of it.
