Create a fantasy steampunk, wild west cowboy, or clever Victorian detective costume with this printable sewing pattern!

This double breasted coat features 10 lapel buttons which can be styled buttoned or unbuttoned. An optional shoulder capelet can be attached via buttons or snaps. Designed with thick fabrics such as wool in mind, this coat is partially lined using collar and lapel facing pieces instead of a full lining.

The sleeves on this coat are single piece, in-set sleeves selected for its beginner-friendly assembly in comparison to a traditional 2 piece style of coat sleeve. In addition, this coat pattern utilizes a flat collar instead of a 2 piece collar. The simplified elements of this long overcoat makes it easier to make and modify!

Pattern includes PDF files for a simplified double breasted duster coat with a back slit and optional detachable shoulder capelet.
