A Jinbei aka Hippari is a traditional set of Japanese clothing, worn during the summer as loungewear, and consists of a kimono-style top and a pair of shorts. Jinbei are pajama-like clothes, traditionally worn by men, but now also by women and children, during the summer months. Use this printable pattern to create loungewear for comfort at home, as a pajama set, or use it as the base for a costume. Drawstring shorts include pockets in the side seams.
